Abstract

Diarrhea a disease characterized by changes in the form and consistency of stools that are soft to liquefied and an increase in the frequency of bowel movements, usually more than 3-4 times or more a day which may be accompanied by vomiting or bowel movements mixed with blood. planned behavior or the theory of planned behavior based on the assumption that humans are rational beings and use the information that is possible for them in a systematic way. Objective: To analyze the relationship between mother's behavior regarding planned health (Health Planned Behavior) with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five. Methods: The study design used an observational study with a retrospective approach design conducted on 94 respondents. The data collection technique used purposive sampling for 94 respondents and data collection using a questionnaire was then tested using SPSS with the Lambda test type. The results of data analysis using the lambda test obtained p value = (0.000) < (0.05) so that H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between mother's behavior regarding planned health (health planned behavior) with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five, the value of r = 0.988 proves that there is a relationship What is strong, the behavior of mothers who are in the less category can cause diarrhea in children under five. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between the mother's behavior regarding planned health and the incidence of diarrhea in children under five.
